REQUIREMENTS

We are hiring for a Fitter. This job requires 3-5 years of experience in installing fire sprinkler systems, must have good verbal and written skills, knowledge of equipment used on most job sites, is aware of safety and emergency procedures, has mechanical skills, is self motivated and can adapt in difficult situations. This position requires an able bodied individual that will be responsible for lifting, moving and installing heavy pipe, other materials, or machinery.

-Installs all components of a fire sprinkler system

-Meets daily production goals

-Assists foreman in laying out the work plan for the day

-Finds, identifies and works around unforeseen issues or problems

-Provides instruction to apprentices

-Assists foreman in maintaining quality control

-Consistently communicates critical information to the foreman

-Thinks ahead
